Dutch energy services firm Fugro has won two new ROV contracts with Petrobras in Brazil.

Both contracts will see the remotely operated vehicles deployed at water depths of 3,000 metres off the country’s coast, supporting Petrobras’ operations including subsea installation, towing, mooring and decommissioning.

The first of the contracts, starting in Q2 of this year, is being executed from SolstdFarstad’s Far Santana anchor handling and towing support (AHTS) vessel.

It will last 319 days.

The second contract, starting in Q3, will havew Fugro’s ROV deployed from the Far Scout AHTS vessel, which will run for a year with an option for a further 12 months,
